The After School Course is an after school study abroad style program for children from Kindergarten to 6th grade. We offer three classes tailored to your child's level, aiming to improve and maintain their English skills.

Immersion Class (For Graduates)

*GIS graduates or those with an equivalent level of English proficiency.

    In the Immersion Class, graduates continue to maintain and further improve their English skills. They engage in all activities in English while being immersed in the language. Conversations with native teachers and friends are conducted entirely in English.

    In the Challenge Class (for general elementary school students), native teachers effectively enhance the four language skills according to each student's level. Children spend three hours immersed in English in a variety of ways, surrounded by friends and the native teacher. The content is primarily tailored to the English level of GIS graduates.

This class provides 90-minute lessons by native teachers. It focuses not only on basic daily conversation but also on enabling smooth, real-life English conversation exchanges.

In this 90-minute course, children learn everyday language and natural English through fun activities with their friends. With the reinforcement of phonics by native teachers, they learn the correct pronunciation of letters. The lessons are designed to keep children engaged while helping them develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

    In the After School Course, where children are immersed in English, phonics is reinforced with correct pronunciation guidance from native teachers. Children will naturally and enjoyably develop their English skills while learning with their friends.

    It is possible for parents to observe the lesson through our monitor when requested

    There are open lessons (parent observations) twice a year, where parents can sit-in and observe the classroom. On other days, parents can also choose to observe the lessons via the monitor.

    We provide a shuttle bus service to ensure your child can commute safely. Limited pickup areas available.

    Under the supervision of Columbia International School, the GIS-exclusive annual curriculum ensures a well-balanced learning of the four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

    Through activities, games, and reading and writing related to the topic, we will develop the four English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in a balanced way.

    Free time

    Children engage in activities until their parents arrive to pick them up.
